This soft tissue mobility technique uses MOBO to anchor one end and raise the opposite end to perform this unique and effective myofascial release. This helps you transition from daily work and school sitting posture to more dynamic fitness and sports activities. Reducing tension on the back of your head and neck allows you to hold your head and neck in a better position to reduce unhealthy tension, improve total body movement, and encourage focus and acuity.
Please watch the video for instructions to perform this MOBO release.
Tips:
- You may use a towel, book, or MOBO block to elevate the MOBO and put your neck in alignment with the rest of the spine. The position of the forehead and chin should be level.
Attention:
- Avoid pressing or rolling with excessive pressure that pushes your head down and forward at your end range of motion.
- Avoid pressing rollers on your spine. Stay in the muscle areas on the sides of your spine.
- Discontinue if there is sharp, shooting, or radiating pain.
